About Me

My photo
Ashes
I feel that the society we live in is one of unnecessary over-consumption, over-production, and over-indulgence. We do not need the crap society tells us that we must have. Every time we think of buying something we should all be asking "where did this come from?", "who made it?", and "what's in it?". I also believe sometimes actions speak louder than words. And since your money is your vote, your support, I've chosen to try to buy ethical products and to make things myself (particularly food and cosmetics) instead of buying them, investing more time and thought into what I consume and put on my body. I've always been discontented with society (though still enamored with the world), but now I can do my little part to help make it different, and hopefully make it easier for others to see how easy, satisfying, and thrifty it is to make things yourself.
